This website is a modest memorial to the life and work of Gereth (Gerry) Spriggs. She was a person of many parts: as an artist she will be remembered for her pen-and-wash paintings, many of which are pictured here; as an art historian, she published a number of papers on illuminated medieval manuscripts; as a writer she published on a range of historical topics; she also wrote poetry – and much more.
Above all, Gerry will be remembered as a warm and loving person, a friend to many, and with a great zest for life and all the good things it has to offer.
